Both the statement individually give value of x in INEQUALITy, so insufficient let's see combined (1) $$2(x + 5) < 1........2(x+5)>1......x+5>\frac{1}{2}......x>\frac{-9}{2}$$, so -4,-3,-2,.... (2) $$3x > 9.......3x<-9.......x<-3$$, so -4,-5,-6.... ONLY co
